Tandem Paragliding High Glide Experience

Experience true free flight and glide like a bird, as one of our skilled instructors take you for a peaceful paragliding glide from over 2000ft in the air, all the way to the ground. Launching from our Mt. Tamborine Hang Glider Launch and Lookout as well as the Mount Tamborine Paragliding Launch on the Gold Coast Hinterland, you’ll sit in the front with 360 degree unobstructed views overlooking the Canungra, or Illinbah Scenic Rim valleys.

Once payment is made, you’ll be redirected to our Weather Update page, where, if the page indicates that the weather is suitable for safe paragliding within the next 48 hours, you can call us and book a flight in. The majority of our flights are on WEEKENDS, early in the morning, when the air is smoothest and enjoyable and safest, unless conditions allow to safely fly later in the day. Purchased flights are valid for 2 years, so if the weather isn’t suitable this time round, keep checking our Weather Update page when you’re next available to fly. If your availability to fly is limited to a very short timeframe  e.g. you’re visiting the region from interstate or overseas, then please select Pay On Location when purchasing your flight, so that no refunds need to be issued, should the weather not be suitable for safe flying during your visit.

You’ll need to allow up to 1.5 hours for your Paragliding Experience, as our instructors take you through the necessary preparation, complete all documentation, talk you through the launching and landing phases, set you up in your equipment, launch and enjoy our flight (with the potential to take the controls if the conditions are suitable), and then return you to the launch site from the landing area. Top to bottom glide times average 10mins, but can vary depending on the conditions.

Please note, passengers must be 10 years of age or older, weigh no heavier than 80kg (passengers heavier than 80kg may still fly if they are taller than average, but please call us first on 07 5543 5939) and no lighter than 30kg. You must be able to jog 4-5 steps so the Instructor can build up a safe takeoff speed before leaving the ground.
